Please follow the correct boot sequence to ensure that the disk drive can be connected. The shutdown sequence also needs to be followed to ensure that the temporary data storage in the device will function normally.
Note1: The shutdown sequence is opposite to the boot sequence.
Note2: Five short beeps will be heard when SW16-G3 is shut down; the other products make no sound when turned off.
A.1 Connect to DAS (QSFP & Thunderbolt interface)
Boot up the storage first, and a short beep will be heard to indicate it is power-on. Then turn on the host computer.

A.2 Connect to C2M adapter in DAS mode
Boot up the storage first, and a short beep will be heard to indicate it is power-on. Next turn on the C2M adapter, and the status LED will turn blue to show that the connection is ready. Then turn on the host computer.
B.1 Connect to SAN (via switch SW16-G3)
Boot up the storage first, and a short beep will be heard to indicate it is power-on. Next turn on the switch, three short beeps will be heard to indicate that the connection is ready. Then turn on the host computer.
B.2 Connect to C2M adapter in SAN mode
Boot up the storage first, and a short beep will be heard to indicate it is power-on. Next turn on the switch, three short beeps will be heard to indicate that the connection is ready. Then turn on C2M adapter, and after seeing the status LED shown blue, you can then turn on the host computer.
C. Connect to ThunderBox (only working with T-Share storage)
After connecting all the devices, power on ThunderBox first. Next boot up the storage, and a short beep will be heard to indicate it is power-on. Then turn on the host computer. Note: If more than one storage is connected, the power sequence is still ThunderBox -> first storage -> second storage -> …and analogy… -> host computer.
