Apple released macOS Big Sur (11.0.1) on November 12, 2020. All the storages of Accusys, including ExaSAN, T-Share and Gamma series, support the latest macOS Big Sur operating system.
*Before updating macOS, make sure the third-party software you are using is compatible with it.
After installing or upgrading to macOS Big Sur, users must reinstall the Accusys Mac driver. The installation package can be downloaded from Accusys Download Center.
Your product series > Your product > Installer Package > Mac Installer
When installing the driver, a pop-up window “System Extension Updated” will appear. Click “Open Security Preferences” and then “Allow” Accusys installer package. After the installation is completed, reboot your computer and you are all set!
If during the installation process you miss clicking “Open Security Preferences” and thus can’t start the device properly, simply go to ”System Preferences,” select “Security & Privacy” icon, click “Allow” Accusys software installation, and reboot the computer.
