■ “ExaRAID”, brought four times processing power!

Nakatani laboratory is one of japan leading laboratory which is developing the next generation micromagnetic simulation and has adopted ExaRAID for simulation system of their research. In this research, it is required to process tens of MB to several GB file size, but the previous RAID device could only process 100 jobs at same time. Now ExaRAID improved it to 400 jobs. Professor Nakatani said " Even though 6 months has been elapsed from installation, it shows a high stability and high performance. I would like to introduce this cost-efficient product to other researchers.

About Nakatani Laboratory, Dept. Graduate School of Informatics, The University of Electro-Communication,Nakatani Laboratory is a laboratory which develops simulation techniques focusing on Micromagnetic simulation and researches magnetic memory, hard disk, and magneto-optical disk using the simulation method they developed. Currently, they are also participating New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization, IAA "spintronics technology projects in non-volatile function".
